The Satisfactory 1.1 release date is set, with several transformative new tools

The Satisfactory 1.1 release date is scheduled for June, with a wealth of new tools and extra features for the automation sandbox game.

Coffee Stain Studios has confirmed the Satisfactory 1.1 release date, as the developer of the beloved automation sandbox lines up a transformative new toolkit for us to play with. Already one of the most highly rated crafting games around, with a 97% positive Steam review score following its 1.0 launch in 2024, Satisfactory's new update has been a long time in the making, and now it's finally been stamped in our calendars for early June.

The sandbox game's world a piece of cake.

The 'straight build' toggle previously introduced for conveyors is now coming to pipes, and it's being ed by a new addition, 'curved build,' which works similarly but with smoother bends. That's just the beginning, as there's a wealth of new tools to play with; more doors, beams, cables, vents, and fans, personnel elevators, visual displays to count throughput, left-handed rail signals, stackable shelves, an end-of-line railway buffer, and a sizable feature overhaul for photo mode.

Now we know when it's coming, and, in typical Coffee Stain fashion, the reveal for the Satisfactory 1.1 launch comes with a bit of a joke about date formats. New community manager Jason Edwards, who comes from the United States, is seen crying about the "October" scheduling, only for it to be revealed that it's written in the day-first European format and that we'll actually be getting the update on Tuesday June 10. That's less than two weeks to wait, so you'll want to start planning your factory overhauls right now.

The Satisfactory 1.1 release date is Tuesday June 10. You can find the game on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
