More MSI RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards are hitting distribution centres, ready for May

Our first peek at an AIB partner's RTX 3080 Ti

While Nvidia hasn't officially confirmed the existence of the RTX 3080 Ti, we're inching closer to its rumoured May 26 release date. This date's looking increasingly likely after Videocardz published photos of two boxed Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Tis - specifically MSI's three-fan, RGB-lit Suprim X model.

These photos indicate that the graphics cards have arrived at distribution centres, which usually happens just a few weeks before the release of new hardware, corroborating the reported late-May launch date.

The new GPU is expected to fill the price gap between its RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, and looks almost identical to MSI's current rumoured $1,200 asking price.

An earlier leak revealed the nerfed against crypto mining, the RTX 3080 Ti being a potential powerhouse means we can still expect demand for this GPU to exceed supply upon release.
